As of July 13, 2020, there have now been over forty million COVID-19 tests administered in the United States, with around nine percent being positive, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Hospitals, lab centers, urgent care facilities and any other practitioners ordering COVID-19 tests, are now faced with the challenge of ensuring all patients tested are notified of their results. Direct Health automates the delivery of test results in real-time to patients. With 90% of test results being negative, Direct Health reduces the burden on health systems.

Direct Health gives patients a secure, easy way to get their results on their own, once they are available. Lab results are automatically uploaded to the portal through the FHIR and API integration.
All of your patient’s lab results are in one private database. The medical team can view the database, test results, patient login activity and status. Patients are automatically notified once the results are uploaded, and given secure access to the portal to check their results.
The sensitivity and privacy of medical records and patient test results are handled with the highest level of security. Multiple levels of security are built in to the Direct Health portal. First and foremost, the datacenter where the patient data and servers are hosted is HIPAA compliant on its own. The portal is designed with multi-level user authentication including time limits and firewalls.
